Why join us
On joining us, you’ll have access to:
- An annual peer review process, evidence based and informed by research to validate your own self-review process.
- School to school support, from system leaders (e.g. SLEs, NLEs) or simply brokered within the partnership.
- Opportunities to propose staff for SLE designations.
- Access to coaching, Action Learning Sets and other peer support programmes, from a network of peer headteachers.
- Information and access to the School Direct pool of developing teachers.
- Ongoing focused professional development for all staff involved through professional dialogue, external facilitators, collaboration with universities and other partners
- A discount on selected professional development programmes and conferences.
We also welcome contributions from our members across the alliance.
Below are examples of how schools can be involved:
ITE - interview panels, observations of potential trainees, mentor training
CPD - developing staff skills and outreach through facilitating programmes e.g. NQT, Outstanding Early Years Teaching
Leadership - undertaking UCL Institute of Education training in order to facilitate NPQML and NPQSL sessions, Coaching and mentoring senior colleagues and aspiring leaders

Membership
All schools that join the Alliance do so as Member Schools.
All schools within our alliance are given the opportunity to engage equally in activities, working groups and with projects and to contribute proactively to the work of the Alliance.
